Why charge at home?
For most drivers, home charging covers almost every journey. You plug in when you get home, the car charges while you sleep and you leave every morning with a full battery — no detours to public chargers and no waiting.
It's also usually the cheapest way to charge. A smart charger can be set to charge only in off-peak hours, which on the standard Spanish 2.0TD tariff means midnight to 8am on weekdays and all day at weekends.
Garages, driveways and carports
Many Marbella homes don't have an enclosed garage, so a lot of our home installations are outdoors. Outdoor chargers are built for it, and we position them to keep the cable tidy and out of the way.
- Wall-mounted in a garage, on an exterior wall or under a carport
- Pedestal mounting where there's no suitable wall
- Tethered (cable attached) or untethered (socket) chargers
- Cable routes planned to be as short and discreet as possible

Working with your existing supply
Before quoting, we check your contracted power and your electrical panel. If your supply is limited, a load-balancing charger means you can charge without increasing your contracted power — it simply slows down while the oven or air conditioning is on.
If you have, or are planning, solar panels, some chargers can prioritise charging from surplus solar energy. Ask us and we'll tell you whether it makes sense for your home.
